I have finally gotten around to posting some of our trip. It is hard to sort through about 7 days worth of over 400 pics! I love them all but don't need them all on here. I wanted to post our whole trip at once, but have finally come to the conclusion that If I keep telling myself that, it will never happen. Here's the first half and hopefully days 4-7 will be soon to follow.
I think that couponing is taking over my blogging time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is it worth it? I got cereal super cheap today. And Strawberries. I made jam......hopefully I get around to posting that too. Scott told me that I can stop spending so much time saving money and go back to blogging. What a man :).

Disneyland here we Come!!!!!!!
We had an 8:30 am flight on Monday morning which meant we had to be to my mom's house by 7:15 to get to the airport by 7:30 (Thanks for taking us Grandpa). I have never seen the kids get ready so quickly. 9am school is WAY too early for Caden, and 8am church is just killer! But when you are getting ready to go to Disneyland, apperantly no time is too early.
Day 1: Long Beach
We got in to LA, California on Monday. We planned on going straight over to California Adventure that day, but after our VERY bumpy plane ride we decided to just hang out on the beach near our condo. The kids thought that was a fine idea and Scott was glad to do some recuperating. He got really sick on the plane. I have travelled by plane quite a bit and I must say I have NEVER been on such a rough flight. I felt like /i was on a really hot and bumpy bus ride.
Despite the crazy flight, the kids were fabulous! Hannah just sat in our lap playing before falling asleep, and Caden and Sarah kept themselves pretty entertained. I was so proud of them!
Day 2: California Adventure
We could not have asked for a better day. The weather was beautiful and the park was was not very busy at all allowing the kids to go on rides over and over again! Minnie was the first character that we saw and there wasn't much of a line so we went to meet her. Sarah wasn't too sure what to think. Hannah didn't want to go to her, but she did keep saying. "mickey mouse". It was super cute.

I kind of over dressed the kids. I didn't think it would get so hot. They didn't mind. They played in the little water park then they dried off on the rides. It was just perfect!

Day 3: Sick Kids and Bubu Gump
By Tuesday night when we got home from the park Hannah and Sarah were burning up! They were so sick and coughing so much to the point of throwing up. Little Hannah insisted on sleeping with "Keih-Kee". I kept them in all day on Wed. tucked in there little beds resting and medicated. Caden was terribly bored, but Hannah and Sarah got lots of rest. I didn't really feel like this ruined our trip at all. As it turns out, they happened to get sick on the day that Scott had to go to his Med conference anyway, AND that happened to be the only day that it rained. So staying in that day would have happened whether they were sick or not. Perfect timing!

When Scott got home we ventured out to a place near our condo. we found a cute little place that was sure to please our shrimp loving crowd. Bubu Gump shrimp. Delish!!!!!!!!!! This was one of the highlights of our trip. when we ask Caden what his favorite thing about the trip was, this is in his top five. Sarah always says. "remember when we went to Bubu Gump".
Caden loved this Little sign. If you wanted your waiters attention you flip it to Stop Forrest, and when you want to eat, you flip it to run. Caden thought of a few reasons to flip it to Stop.

Here's our sick little Sarah. she tried to hang in there but she just wasn't feeling well at all!

The BIG reveal
Sarah has been wanting her own room for quite some time now. You may remember posts a while back about Sarah moving out of her room and into the playroom, sleeping on a coffee table. Well, she sweet talked her Daddy into moving his weights out of the spare room. He told her that that is what he would do for her birthday. She didn't let us forget and as soon as we got back from Disneyland, we got to work. ( I will eventually post pictures of that trip by the way) We wanted it to be a surprise so we taped off the door and worked at night while the kids slept. She was so excited and did such a good job of staying out. On the night of her birthday, we had Grandma and Gpa Waggoner, and Dawn and Daniel over to see the "tape cutting" and the big reveal. Sarah really seemed to love her new room, and that night we tucked her into her new bed in her new room.
About 40 min. later when Scott and I went to check on her this is what we saw.
We walked back over to her old room, and there she was, in her old bed, in her old bedroom with Hannah.
For the next few nights this pattern followed, with longer sleep times before she switched to her other room, but eventually.........
We hope to see this more often.
Princess Lunch

For Sarah's birthday we invited some friends over for lunch. Since we just got back from Disneyland Sarah wanted everyone to come dressed up like a princess. One of Sarah's favorite things is to get her nails painted so I planned on doing that for the party. Lucky for us Carmella came because she has all the fun nail stuff. She painted the girls nails and they all felt like little princesses. Sarah's only disappointment was that her cute little friends Keoni or Nick didn't show up dressed up as kings. I guess that is how it was all supposed to play out in her mind.

She did have a soldier there to guard them however. Can't beat that.

To my "green" baby
Happy Birthday Sarah!!

Sarah just turned 4!!!! (St. Patrick's day). Time goes too fast. She is certainly growing up to be a "little lady". We love having her ever cheerful, yet a bit feisty, personality in our home. I feel like she has grown up so much this year, especially in the last few weeks. We love you so much Sarah.

Desperate times......
Desperate measures!!!
I don't know how it can be possible, but I find myself sick AGAIN!!! I totally jinxed myself back in November. I remember sitting there talking about how many people seemed to be sick, and telling her, "oh, well I never get sick". Within a few days I was sick and I have never really, fully recooperated since. Just when I think I am getting better, another really bad cold hits. I think that every memory I have of this winter I am sick in it:(
My dear friend Carmella brought me over this little concoction and I thought I'd give it a try.
- Straight cranberry juice, not ocean spray, the straight bitter stuff.
- The juice of a lemon (lime in this case).
- Honey
Scott also gave me some kind of med. I don't know what it was. He got it out of his little pharmacy stash. Here's to a better tomorrow!
Thank you so much Carmella!!!!!!!!!!
