Rainy day on the Boise River

Scott had the Friday before the 4th of July off so we decided to float the river. It was a super hot day so we thought it would be perfect. After Hannah woke up we headed down there. Scott saw some clouds off in the distance but I assured him they would never get to us. We got into the river and within the first half hour the clouds rolled in and it got pretty cold and windy. This did not bother the kids at all. They had so much fun. Even Hannah loved it and did so well. We started to feel a few rain drops so Scott an Caden stated to paddle SO FAST!!! We were passing so many groups of people. The wind was strong enough that a branch broke off a tree and fell in the river. (the kids were still loving it) Right when we got to Ann Morrison park and stepped out of our boat it started to rain. Lucky for us Scott got us out of there at record speed. Despite the rain, we had such a fun time!!!!!!!
