New York (trip continued)

we decided to take a little trip over to Long Island in New York with Adrian and Wendy. Adrian goes there a lot for school, Wendy was craving New York, and Scott wanted to show us all where he went to school in Long Island. We decided to take the ferry over. The ride over was beautiful. the weather was just perfect! It was so fun to drive around on long Island and see all the little families heading for the many pumpkin patches we saw along the way. Scott retold me stories of the adventures he had on those very rodes, like the time he almost drove right off the rode trying to avoid hitting a raccoon. It was fun to walk around on campus at Stony Brook.

Central Park

Hey, is that someone bending over in our beautiful park picture? funny Adrian and Wendy!

we went and got Pizza at a little place Adrain knew of and took it over to Central park to eat. The city was so crazy alive. There was just so much going on at the park, and for no particular reason. People were hanging out, dancing, playing instruments, and there was even a huge group of people doing all these really cool tricks on skates as people gathered around to watch. Trying to park was absolutely insane! Everything just seemed to move at a much different pace than we are used to. There was so much noise and honking of horns, but it didn't really seem to phase people. They just walked on. I finally stopped looking every time I heard a horn and realized that it is just all part of the background noise.

You've gotta get pictures in Time square!!

The day ended late. We got around to leaving for home at about 9 or 10. Little Scarlett just sat in her little stroller and enjoyed all the lights.
